Wooden Cutting Board Care Instructions
Daily Care
Wash by hand with warm water and mild dish soap.
Wipe dry immediately with a clean towel.
Stand upright or lean to air-dry fully.
Things to Avoid
Never put in the dishwasher.
Do not soak or leave sitting in water.
Avoid placing near direct heat sources (stove, radiator, sunlight).
Don’t use harsh chemicals or bleach.
Disinfecting & Deep Cleaning
Sprinkle coarse salt or baking soda, scrub with half a lemon.
For deeper cleaning, use a diluted vinegar solution (white vinegar + water).
Rinse quickly and dry immediately.
Oiling / Conditioning
Oil your board every 3–4 weeks, or whenever it looks dry.
Use food-grade mineral oil or board cream/wax (never use cooking oils — they go rancid).
Apply a generous coat, let absorb, and wipe off excess.
For best results, finish with a beeswax conditioner to seal the pores.
Storage
Store standing upright or hanging to prevent moisture buildup.
Keep in a well-ventilated area — not in a closed or humid cabinet.
